The Manufactured Housing Citizens Group is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping buyers make informed decisions when buying manufactured housing. MHCG was formed in 2003 when a handful of families in Lake County, California, had similar problems with the same dealer and were fortunate in finding a law firm willing to handle a “group action” lawsuit against this dealer on contingency. Since that time, we have been contacted by buyers from several other Northern California communities, and we are happy to list attorneys who have been helpful to them in our “Lawyers in Northern California” section.
